In 1985, John Marshall attended yet another unimaginative function with dull food and poor service. He decided there and then to create a professional event catering and events management service.

He began by seeking out catering specialists with similarly high standards to join the team and The Caterers was born. We offer a totally bespoke event catering service with everything tailored to meet the individual needs of each client. With The Caterers, no two menus or events are ever the same.

To begin with, you will speak to the person who is actually going to be responsible for your event from the start. We certainly don't have any salespeople.

We then pay a great deal of attention to the planning and preparation of each event, so that everything is perfect on the day. Once you've booked us, you can enjoy a taster session in our professional development kitchen and try items from the menu we have created together.

And our catering staff are always dressed for the occasion in various styles of company uniform, from informal dress to our full butler service.
